The Challenge

Baby Beau and Belle came to us needing to reach new customers. Even though more than 80% of their traffic was via mobile, their existing site wasn’t mobile-friendly. This stagnation in their technology manifested as a plateau in their sales in previous years. It was important to them to create a modern site that would work well for their customers. Their goal was to see increased monthly sales and increased ROI from their marketing efforts.

Our Approach

We updated the brand identity and website to not only reflect the company’s elegant and refined aesthetic, but also appeal to a younger, more tech-engaged set of parents and gift-givers. With such a high percentage of mobile shoppers, intuitive navigation and ease-of-use were key. And for a company that’s been around as long as Baby Beau and Belle, we wanted to create a site that would offer the flexibility to allow for the next couple decades of continued growth.

Rather than redesign Baby Beau and Belle’s logo, we expanded on the already established elements to create a new classic and elegant aesthetic. To showcase the brand’s history and expertise, she designed a simple stacked version of the logo that featured an “est’d 1989” signature.
