Twig & Tale

A woodland name and brand design for a children's sewing pattern business.

The Challenge

Lisa designs and sells delightful woodland inspired children’s clothing and doll sewing patterns which can be made from recycled materials. She came to us when she was ready to rebrand her business with a new name, professional logo and copywriting, all of which should create the feeling of a lifestyle around the brand.

Our Approach

We brainstormed new business name ideas, aiming for a relaxed, calm, whimsical woodland feel. The winning name, Twig + Tale, met these objectives and has a timeless feel. We then took the new business name and handcrafted a brand with love. Wonderful, storybook product descriptions draw the customer in to the world.

Our goal for the Twig + Tale redesign was to create a warm and inviting, playful and easy-to-use site that showcases their gorgeous patterns but also highlights the buying and making process. The concept features the sweet branding that we created, along with some new woodgrain inspired patterns and textures to match. The site features are extremely robust: along every step of the way, customers are introduced to Twig + Tale’s pattern features and given inside looks at their products to encourage confident purchases.
