Aeolidia to the rescue!
We have worked with Stacia over the last few years, developing a new brand identity, product packaging design, product photography, and custom Shopify website for her company Handcrafted HoneyBee. After this initial rebrand, her company saw a 918% increase to income, which we couldn’t be more excited about!
As Handcrafted HoneyBee grew, Stacia realized she wanted to narrow her focus to her popular collection of aluminum-free deodorants and begin using a subscription business model. She came to us to develop a new Shopify website and rebrand her deodorant collection under its new name: SmartyPits.
Aeolidia to the rescue!
We designed a new logo, graphic elements and brand marks for SmartyPits, as well as product packaging for the deodorants and mini deodorants.
For the new Shopify website, our developer Jon included customizations designed to help Stacia grow the subscriptions side of her business.
What Our Client Had to Say
You guys are giving me ALL THE FEELS! I love working with Aeo so much (I told a friend that I recommended doing her wholesale site with you guys too–it’s just so easy, amazing, incredible, [INSERT ALL THE AWESOME ADJECTIVES HERE] to work with you guys.
One of the things I love most about working with Aeolidia is the brain power & talent of so many minds focusing on producing the best possible outcome for our business. There was a clear timeline from the beginning, focused objectives, and timely delivery. I’m so pleased–and I know I’ll continue to be an Aeolidia client for years to come!
Quick Brand Guide
For the SmartyPits website, we used the ReCharge app to power Stacia’s new subscription business model. The custom designed subscription page funnels website visitors into a single subscription product to simplify the experience for new customers.
Our developer Jon Manning also customized the Shopify storefront to emphasize the subscriptions and make it easy for customers to use:
SmartyPits has 4 types of products I had to keep in mind when it comes to subscriptions on the collection page. Subscription products (this is most of their deodorants), one-time purchase products (seasonal and samplers), products with multiple variants (samplers with multiple options), and the starter set (which has lots of customization). All of the products have conditional logic set up to show different options based on the type of product.
Typical subscription products on hover have an add to cart button and a subscribe button. If you click on subscribe it gives you the option of frequency (1-4 months) and quantity. This allows a quick and easy add to cart with the required subscription fields without having to click through to the product page.
In case you have selected the wrong frequency (perhaps you selected every month when you prefer it every 2 months), I’ve set it up to be able to easily update the delivery frequency in the cart using a dropdown menu. This is much quicker and easier than having to remove the product, find the product again, and add it to cart with the new frequency which is the default functionality.
A strong visual brand throughout, plus the Philanthropy and About pages, tell the SmartyPits story.
