Aeolidia to the rescue!
The Dream Team
Louise's Problem
Louise Little started out as a glass artist, making and selling glass beads. After being in business a while, she began taking metals and design classes, and her look evolved as she honed her skill set.
By using metal and glass in her designs, her jewelry became more contemporary, high-end and abstract. But Louise realized her branding did not match her new jewelry style.
“I want people to see edgy contemporary jewelry and the influence of the desert. I want them to see jewelry that will make them feel special and help them to make an impression. I am not ordinary,” Louise said.

Our Solutions
We were inspired to create a strong yet minimal mark that paid homage to the diamond shape Louise has used for 20 years. Our designer, Jess, worked to create something contemporary with a nod to ancient desert symbolism. She explored many directions and ideas, landing finally on this perfect marriage of edgy minimalism and southwestern style.
The mark began when Jess was experimenting with crossing two “L”s, inspired by Louise’s initials. That design evolved into a striking mark that will be a great next step for the more sophisticated brand Louise wants to present to the world.
Jess used Louise’s Pinterest board for color palette inspiration. She kept things organic and rustic-toned, adding in some pops of color to be used in moderation. The rusty orange and turquoise colors were inspired by traditional Southwest desert colors, which adds a subtle appeal for Louise’s target demographic.
What Our Client Had to Say
I have always realized it was important to show consistency in my branding, and I thought I could do it myself, but it never came together. Committing time with Aeolidia forced me to focus on my brand and what I wanted to say to the world. Aeolidia made it happen. I think the new logo appeals to my target client as it is refined but has the feel of Southwest. That is exactly what I was going for.
