Diana's Project
La Vida Eyewear designs, fits and styles gorgeous eyewear for Latin@s.
No manufacturer of eyewear has catered to this growing demographic. Most glasses designed from these manufacturers do not fit their prescription or their faces.
When Diana would sit down to style one of her patients, she realized very quickly that the eyewear in the market today did not fit them well. She did some research and dug deeply trying to find eyewear that fit well and all she got in response was, “we don’t make that kind of eyewear because no one buys it.” Gasp!
Diana told us, “our initial name was “Wink and Save.” This really doesn’t resonate at all with the sassy spiciness of the designs in our eyewear. I feel that we are more of a rockabilly princess meets Frida Kahlo. “Wink and save” is just not a name that represents what we do, what we value or our why.
Diana’s goal was to have a well designed, functional e-commerce website that will promote the sale of her eyewear by allowing affiliate brick and mortar stores to enter eyeglasses orders for their customers using special codes that allow for tracking affiliate payments and provide discounts for their customers.

Christine kept in mind Diana’s desire for a bold and fashionable, fresh and user-friendly website. The concept features the fun Latinx-inspired branding elements we’ve established: bold typography, illustrative elements, and a pop of color. Of course, the site remains clean and easy to navigate so that Diana’s customers can learn the story of the frames and fall in love with the designs. They’ll leave inspired to visit one of her retail partners OR inspired to sign up as a retail partner!
