Aeolidia to the rescue!
My main objective with the new website is to make purchasing products from Boco Baby easy. Right now people have to actually work at ordering products from my Etsy shop because they have to read a lot and write a bunch in the message to sellers and we still have to contact to clarify. They don’t really know what they are going to be receiving as far as what it will look like.
It is important for me to convey of exactly what we do – take your baby’s name and your choice of design and create the items of your choice. People don’t totally understand, they think we have a warehouse full of name fabric in every design. I would love for people to get an immediate impression of how the process works.
For the home page I want them drawn in without being overwhelmed. I want the first thought to be PROFESSIONAL! It has taken awhile for me to consider my business a true business and myself as the head, and right now with Etsy I feel like I’m just pretending. I don’t want homemade or home business or crafter to cross their minds. I want them to think “Where have I been that I didn’t know about this incredible company already?”
I want it to be memorable so if they don’t buy products right away they remember where to go to get the best one of kind quality product for a baby.
My ultimate goal is to sell a lot of personalized baby and childrens items and have the experience be so easy and exciting that they can’t wait to order again . . . and again.

For Boco Baby’s logo redesign and new website, we created a look that was clean and modern, while remaining playful and sweet. Chandler’s fox illustration had become Boco Baby’s unofficial mascot, and we stripped out some extra detail to make it more chic. What remains is a simple, iconic mark, bookended by friendly custom type. We also added two little forest friends — a bunny and bear — to round out the cheery branding. The new fun and friendly aesthetic extends to the website, which needed to be clean and easy to navigate.
On the product pages, we customized the ordering process to allow Chandler to easily update all the options and customizations for each product. Now her customers can simply select their preferences from lists of options to create exactly what they want. A size chart is automatically included, and customers may add things to a wish list.
