Aeolidia to the rescue!
Offering high-quality limited-edition art for everyone since 2007, 20×200 is a true pioneer in the art and e-commerce space. 10+ years into their online business, 20×200 came to Aeolidia in 2018 to create an updated, improved online shopping experience to not only better serve their existing customers but attract new art collectors.
20×200 has thrived on press and word-of-mouth marketing over the years, getting featured in big name publications ranging from The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal to Real Simple and Better Homes & Gardens. The online world is changing, though, and Jen realized it was time for a refresh. She told us:
“We went through a restructuring in 2013, and relaunched after being offline for several months, but never really told our story + just haven’t been the same since.
The new site needs to do a better job of merchandising our product, telling our story, communicating our values + it also should put all the press and accolades we’ve received front and center. We have TONS of existing assets that we can make better use of.”
Jen was ready to move forward with an updated paid-digital strategy for her e-commerce business, but before she put money behind Facebook Ads or Google AdWords, she wanted a modern e-commerce website that was optimized to convert visitors into art buyers.

We approached the project with the goal to better showcase their limited-edition art for sale, highlight the artists they work with, and bring attention to their curated art collections. We stayed true to the spirit of their existing visual brand identity, but brought in art direction and photography recommendations to create an updated, contemporary, and refined look and feel that stays true to who they are — with an overall warm and approachable (yet polished) vibe.
We also identified valuable opportunities to improve site organization, navigation, and storytelling component to transform their complex and layered site into one that is intuitive and easily shoppable! Overall, we’re thrilled with the transformation and look forward to watching 20×200 thrive online!
