The Wrappery

The Wrappery

"Working with Aeolidia the second time around was just as good as the first! Arianne, Chris and Lauren were amazing.

We fell in love with the logo and the look and feel of the website instantly. And everyone who has seen the site loves it too! Lauren, your ability to translate what we tried to describe in a few simple words blew us out of the water! We could not have imagined up a more beautiful website.

Saying thank you a million times is still not enough for the great work you have all done. We are so grateful to have connected with you creative geniuses.

XOXOXO from Canada. :)"

I Heart Guts

I Heart Guts

"Aeolidia has really big brains and a lot of heart -- that's why we so enjoyed working with them. Arianne and Chris will rock your world with their smarts, design talent, kindness and patience. The Aeolidia team is free from the bad art and exasperated attitude that often accompany really good, robust, solid coding. They know it all without being know-it-alls, and will bust their butts to get the job done right.

You guys are the sweetest. It truly was a pleasure working with you, and I so appreciate how much more you two brought to the site than I ever imagined possible. Thank you for making magic happen! I am always amazed and impressed that you took my annoying problems and saw them as fun challenges and learning experiences instead of giant pains in the ass."

Noisy Dog Studio v2

Noisy Dog Studio v2
I did a quick redesign of Leigh's site, to put the emphasis on her custom work. We also tried to make the navigation simpler and clearly show the three main sections of the site, while making the site look more like an art gallery than an ecommerce site.

Green Baby Gift Box

Green Baby Gift Box

Superbuzzy

Superbuzzy

"It was a very humbling experience when I embarked on building the original superbuzzy site more than 2 years ago (so much code, so many bugs!), and so I knew I needed to bring in the experts to make sure that the new site functions smoothly and easily, and looks perfectly clean. Aeolidia has distinguished itself as a company that is comfortable working with a variety of shopping cart systems, and is also clearly skilled at integrating beautiful design concepts with (at times) fussy and persnickety coding. Working with Arianne and Chris at Aeolidia was nothing short of enlightening from start to finish, and I think you'll see that they have successfully fixed a number of long-standing bugs on the site, made the shopping process much simpler and more intuitive, and added a number of handy-dandy features."

Dreams & Jewelry v4

Dreams & Jewelry v4
Andrea wanted to freshen her site, so we added a new background, adjusted the header to have a pretty ragged edge, and created a new footer design. This was a collaboration between Andrea and myself.

Aimee Ray illustrated a crown for Andrea and I used this to create her new logo.

Starry Designs

Starry Designs

"I have heard many great things about Aeolidia from various indie designers. I finally decided to have her come up with a site for my jewelry when I was ready one year later.

Arianne was great to work with, from the making of the logo to the finishing touches of the site. The project site she used allowed us to keep track of every step of the process, which proved wonderful to refer to anytime. Arianne is patient, attentive to details and would work to make every change you want possible.

Arianne is definitely a pleasure to work with and very professional. I am more than pleased with the whole experience and would recommend her to anyone."

Under the Oak

Under the Oak

"My dream of having a business completely came to life when I signed on with Aeolidia. Arianne and Leslie were beyond amazing to work with. They were happy to deal with every single little thing I wanted to change or add. Being able to be such a big part of the project was great. I loved being able to see everything that was going on with the project down to the smallest alterations. Arianne also helped me chose a new business name and it has put my business on a whole other level. Leslie made an amazing illustration that perfectly complimented my new business name. I couldn't be happier with my overall experience with Aeolidia!"

Art School Dropout

Art School Dropout
Jessee had an existing Zen Cart site that needed some work, so I upgraded it to the latest version, installed some add-ons to make working in the admin easier, and did a redesign.

Jessee drew flowers that matched some of the elements she uses in her jewelry and I used these to come up with a new logo and matching site design. Now her images load more quickly (thanks to Image Handler), it's easier to see what she has, and she has a way to feature events and other news from the main page.

I heart felt

I heart felt

"I heard about Aeolidia this past winter through a friend, and I am so glad I contacted her! I wanted to discuss with Arianne a website I wanted built for my small business. There was a prefab design that was just perfect for my budget, and then Arianne amazed me with all the right questions, so the prefab could really suit my vision, my business and my personality. I asked if Daniele Young could do my illustrated logo and girl, and the funny thing is the girl looks like me, in illustrated form of course! The crazy thing about it is that Daniele didn't even see a picture of me! Arianne was able to take the illustrations, photos, colour scheme, and her magic coding skills and make a truly wonderful web shop for my business. Plus, having the ongoing support after the project is complete, is something that is rare and definitely valued... I appreciate everything!"

Big Mama Slings

Big Mama Slings
Aimee Ray designed a character and text logo for the Big Mama Slings site and Shoshanna combined them to create the site header and redesigned Becky's existing website around the new illustrations.

A lot of work was done to organize the large amount of info on the Big Mama site, as well as make it easy for customers to use. Many customizations were made to get the cart working well for a UK-based business.

bébé books

bébé books

"It has been a very long journey of 'hurry up and wait' that I have been on with Arianne, Aimee, and Shoshanna. This group of talented people has amazed me every step of the way. To be able to see ideas that were once only figments of your imagination come to life on the screen is truly remarkable. Throughout the process there have been several obstacles on my end that held things up and Arianne has been great about putting it on hold but just as great about getting right back into things as soon as I was ready. Arianne and her team are a huge source of knowledge and when something came up that they didn't know, there were no lengths they wouldn't go to get an answer.

I am so thrilled with the outcome of the site and the continued support I am receiving even now that the site is live. There is no doubt that as our site changes and grows, that I will be looking to Arianne and her team for answers, advice and inspiration. It has been a true privilege and joy working with Aeolidia and I am very much looking forward to future work!"

Pen & Parchment v2

Pen & Parchment v2
This is a redesign of Carrie's site. This time we started from scratch for the redesign, creating a new logo, color scheme, and layout.

The redesign keeps the subcategory menu that shows when you hover over each category. Carrie has a lot of content on her site, so this time we concentrated on organization, making it clear and easy for her customers to find all the info we need. We took her information pages and divided them into categories in the footer, grouped the account links and search tools in one area, and made some space for links to featured designer pages.

Head Full of Pixies

Head Full of Pixies

"Shoshanna and Arianne were completely fantastic to work with. They took what was in my cluttered head and made it beautiful. I can't get over their level of patience with me and my many questions and requests. Everything was so organized and clear - I always knew exactly where we were in the process. Thank you so much for giving me something way cooler than I was hoping for.

I will recommend you guys to everyone!"

Sticky Prints
We had helped Cynthia transfer and upgrade her website earlier in the year, and she recently came to us with an idea for a redesign that would appeal more to her customer base.

We set Sticky Prints up with a fresh modern/retro look, while tidying and organizing many aspects of her page layouts as well.

"I'm so glad I came across Arianne's website when I was looking for someone to help me set up my online store! I couldn't be happier with the process of putting together the site or how it has turned out. Arianne is extremely professional, organized, and endlessly patient. Her tutorials have made learning how to update and maintain my site so easy. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted my shop to look like and Arianne was able to do everything I wanted and more! After this experience I wouldn't want to work with anyone else and would recommend Arianne to anyone. Thanks Arianne!"

Plueys

Plueys
Shoshanna designed the Plueys site based on Karen's existing logo. The look was meant to be friendly for kids and adults, and is rainy with a ray of sunshine - mouse over the cloud navigation for little rainbows!

The Plueys shop takes advantage of Zen Cart's currencies feature, with prices converted from the US dollar to the Hong Kong dollar. The navigation on the left includes links to each individual boot, or you can view all boots in a category on one page.

dot e dot

dot e dot
The dot e dot site sells baby slings and carriers. Daniele Young did the lovely illustrations for this site.

We used Zen Cart's language and currency features to allow customers to customize the site based on their preferences. All of the pages of the site are translated into Norwegian and English, and you can switch by clicking your flag from any page on the site. Prices can be converted from Norwegian kroner to Euros or US dollars.

We set up an automatic fabric gallery and a way for Elin to create as many pop up galleries as she'd like. She can also set up and change out as many randomly rotating images as she'd like on the main page.
