As I was searching for designers to help me create my website, I pored through dozens of small business, retail, indie craft, and artist sites for ideas. I frequently noticed a link to "Aeolidia" at the bottom of sites I liked, so I decided to enlist their help. It was such a great decision!
Arianne and Chris were so great to work with! Entering into the process, I felt so overwhelmed, unknowledgeable, and unsure that I would be able to manage a site and shop by myself. My web "know-how" was always pretty limited, but that has all changed! At every step of the way, they answered all of my questions so thoroughly and patiently, even the "dumb" or repetitive ones. I feel so much more savvy now. They are total pros and so organized and creative. They've created such a beautiful site for me that really captures the essence of Fernworks. I'm already getting tons of compliments on it.

"I knew both from reading their testimonials from satisfied customers as well as seeing their websites that Aeolidia was the web designer for my business. My only two worries going into this project was that they would not be able to live up to their crazy stellar reputation, as well as that the kind of site I wanted (elegant, bright, feminine) was slightly different in style from their best sites, which tend to be more quirky, fun and illustration driven.
On both counts, my worries were unfounded. Not only were Arianne and Chris organised, professional and patient, they were also highly technically accomplished. When faced with obstacles, they never complained or took short cuts, but instead always presented options for solving the problems. Arianne always had my business's best interests at heart, presenting her honest opinions and giving great advice from her wealth of experience, but was never condescending or pushy, and always deferred to my preferences. She made this complex website world completely understandable, and condensed into the essential bits I need to know: no time-wasting, no troubleshooting, no need to learn from any mistakes.
Equally importantly, Arianne is an incredibly versatile designer. It is difficult to find the best of both worlds in one web designer. She has a great eye and her design work does not impose itself, but instead works beautifully to bring out the best in your products. I really wasn't sure that it was possible (because I'm really hard to please), but I absolutely love all the design work she did for me. My website is perfect for my jewelry, with the exact feel I was going for. I work with lots of competent people, and down to the detail, Aeolidia is top notch in their professionalism and talent. Jessee drew flowers that matched some of the elements she uses in her jewelry and I used these to come up with a new logo and matching site design. Now her images load more quickly (thanks to Image Handler), it's easier to see what she has, and she has a way to feature events and other news from the main page.
