Portfolio: Samples of our work

KittenChops

Hi, I am Zaara KittenChops. I am originally from Hungary (Zsazsa Gábor, Béla Lugoshi, or the Rubik cube may come to mind?). I grew up there during the 70s' socialist era in the absence of consumerism: no TV on Mondays (only one channel on other days), no billboards, no sugar cereal... On the other hand I was fortunate to receive a very strong public education, spending my time immersed in my country's very creative folk, artistic and literary tradition. Long story short I earned my BA in graphic design from Western Washington University. Right after graduation I moved to Seattle and worked as a graphic designer for Starbucks Coffee Company for five years. Currently I have my own business as a graphic designer/illustrator and live in West Seattle with my two cats: Cicka and Mitsu.

Cotton & Cloud

Cotton & Cloud
Kyoko has a popular blog and sells crafting supplies, patterns, and fabrics, as well as offering free PDF downloads. She needed a way to put all of her projects onto one site and make things easy for her and her customers, and we were able to combine a shop and a blog for her. First, Zaara designed the amazing logo, as well as two additional illustrations for use on the site. Then Lauren stepped up and created a soft and dreamy website design. Chris did most of the work setting everything up with CKGold and Wordpress and I stepped in from time to time to work on details. A real team effort! I really like the main page of the site, which combines the latest blog post and thumbnail with items from the shop and bits of news. I love it when we can pull together all the facets of what a client does into one cohesive package.

Wild Dill

Wild Dill
The Wild Dill site was so much fun! We started with some truly amazing illustrations and a logo by KittenChops and put together a clean and playful site for Jennifer.

Special attention was paid to each page of the Wild Dill site, including some special category page layouts and a clean and clear "view cart" page.

We also did a lot of print and promotional work for Wild Dill, including a variety of banner ads, postcards, business cards, and stickers.
