29olives

29olives
Daniele Young created the logo and illustrations and I designed Erin's CKGold site. We put a lot of work into making each page of this site super-adorable to live up to the great care Erin put into planning and developing her shop.

Sunshine Yarns

Sunshine Yarns
Daniele Young created the logo for Sunshine Yarns (based on Dani's original sun/yarn ball idea), and we scattered yarn balls all over the site.

We did a lot of customization for this site, setting up a special photo gallery section, and a sample swatch section to display on the main page.

I heart felt

I heart felt
We took a prefab design and combined it with Daniele Young's custom illustrations to create a simple Zen Cart site for Michele to sell fabric, fibre, and tools for crafting. A matching newsletter design and business card were also created.

The cart was modified so that fabric could be sold by the meter, and we also set it up so items could be purchased in Canadian or US dollars.

One Good Bumblebee v2

One Good Bumblebee v2
The redesign of the One Good Bumblebee site began with a set of fun scribbly drawings from Daniele Young, and from there was meticulously designed to look like a school notebook explosion!

This was a super fun one to work on, from the unique product page layout and the rotating photo headers to the scribbled mouseovers on the category menu.

Made by Terri

Made by Terri
The Made by Terri site uses CKShop. Daniele Young did the illustration, and the site design uses the color scheme she came up with and the simple playful feel.

This site features a roating main page image, a guestbook, a "sold bags" gallery, and a mailing list. The thumbnail border frames are added to each new image automatically from the style sheet.

dot e dot

dot e dot
The dot e dot site sells baby slings and carriers. Daniele Young did the lovely illustrations for this site.

We used Zen Cart's language and currency features to allow customers to customize the site based on their preferences. All of the pages of the site are translated into Norwegian and English, and you can switch by clicking your flag from any page on the site. Prices can be converted from Norwegian kroner to Euros or US dollars.

We set up an automatic fabric gallery and a way for Elin to create as many pop up galleries as she'd like. She can also set up and change out as many randomly rotating images as she'd like on the main page.

Peony Patch

Peony Patch
The Peony Patch site uses Zen Cart.

Daniele Young illustrated the header, and created small illustrations for each shop category. I took Daniele's illustration, and used her header stitching idea to run around the entire content box, bumping out around the side boxes.

Omnibella

Omnibella
The Omnibella site is a good example of just how much you can modify Cartkeeper to get something very unique and detailed.

We removed the customer login and wish list features from this site, to keep everything simple and streamlined. Special button images were made for the mailing list form and add to cart buttons, and we added a contact form (something Cartkeeper doesn't come with). Attention was paid to each page to make it pretty (see the flowers in the contact form!), and the shopping experience on this site should be simple and fun.
